Chris the King |
This is the final Sunday of our church year. It is known as Christ the King Sunday, the day in which Christians take time to contemplate what it means for us to call Jesus our King.

Time and Talents Sunday |
The Bible tells us that the church is like a living body (1 Corinthians 12 and Romans 12). We each are different parts of that body and we all need to do what is needed to help the body be healthy. Each of us has gifts to use for the church. We all have time we can give to the church. Please do your part to serve our church.

Be Careful and Prepared for What You Wish For |
This sermon is on one of the most visual and powerful prophetic texts from the Old Testament. Amos and Jesus call us to be on guard against foolish pride and to keep our eyes on what God says is right. These are powerful words for all of us to hear.

41,000 Flavors |
There are approximately 41,000 Christian denominations and organizations in the world. The Reformation was the beginning of this diversity. It's one of the most significant events in history. As we celebrate this day, we will look at our history and what makes our "flavor" of Christianity unique. What makes us who we are?

Grace Filled GivingSecond of two sermons focusing on our giving to the Lord's work at Grace Lutheran for 2015 |
In our second message about our giving for 2015 I am going to share the words of the Apostle Paul as he took the offering to the church in Jerusalem that was suffering from a famine. As we talk about our giving to support the work of the church next year our Church Council President Mara Schwartz will share some of our ministry needs and goals with you. This is our church and this is God's church. We all need to do our part to generously support its mission and ministries.

Grace Filled HeartsFirst of two sermons focusing on our giving to the Lord's work at Grace Lutheran for 2015 |
The words of the Apostle Paul about the amazing faith and grace-filled hearts of the ancient Christians living in Macedonia, a poor part of Greece, will be our guide. As we think and pray about our gifts for 2015 we need to keep in mind what Christian giving is all about. This sermon highlights some of those attributes of having a "grace-filled heart" and also shares some of our congregational goals for next year.

The Godly Mindset |
We live in a "Gotcha!" world. Too many people spent too much time trying to get ahead by doing things that bring others down. In response to this the Apostle Paul tells us we need to live with a Christ-like mindset.
